Hello there! Be sure to reply to the private message that was sent to you.

Talk to me on SKype when you see me, we'll get it sorted out.

Good idea. I couldn't find a plugin for it though... I should ask the company that makes the software. There's a way to make a BB code for it, but not seeing anything for it doing it automatically. That would be the best.

If you click the "change theme" button at the bottom, you should be able to go to the mobile theme and use that on your DSi. I'm supprised it does't switch it automatically.

First off, the firefox 2 engine is extremely old and should not be considered modern by any means. Go download the newer version of firefox, chrome, or comodo dragon. That will solve most of your problems right there.

That's quite nice

I guess this is why you're not supposed to let young ones around matches... It seems that over the course of the day, Alsek has managed to set the forum ablaze. The battle to control the smoldering notebook pages is well underway. We've lost several very classic pieces of art. The smoke is so toxic that even spam will have a very hard time surviving. The forums will be going temporarily offline for all of Sunday for emergency maintenance to control this situation. There's no telling what will be left when this is over with. We'll try very hard to control these situations in the future. Thank you for your patience in this time of crisis, and remember: According to this bear who seems to enjoy threatening us with a shovel. I suppose this is what we get for having a forum made out of paper.

Yeah, I know. It will be fixed soon...

Hey there

Well, I like the idea behind posting the things on youtube. It gives a nice feed for pulling things from. The video portion could just be a logo or something... since all we really care about is the audio. Yeah, that's not really what Youtube is designed for. We could go about setting up an iTunes podcast as well and stash things on servers around here or on Amazon. The way that works would also set up nice content delivery and reach a wide audience. But, it would require we host the content somewhere still, which is why I liked the idea of using youtube. I do like the popcorn-reading format, I think that works best for getting people to pay attention. And, I think it'd be great if you put a link to the study information in the forum threads you post. That way we have it well ahead of time. You can also warn people in those threads that the studies are recorded.

I think the bots can do it. Given the way reCaptcha works, its not that surprising. It takes a word from a printed piece of material (book, newspaper, radio script, etc.) and gives you one word it knows and one word it doesn't.. So, in solving the captcha, you're helping in the process of digitizing books. As far as security goes, this used to work a lot better than it does now... What's strange is when I changed the registration system to use reCaptcha, the built in captha (which is completely random, and only the software on this website knows the answer at any given point) was either broken or working about as well as reCaptcha is now (I forget which, possibly both).
