Hey Welcome to the forums. I noticed that you want to study to be an Electrical Engineer. That's exactly what I am doing right now. I'll be starting my 3rd year in the Fall! Yea I was also told that it sounded immature, but you gotta remember he was like 15 when writing the first book. The following books get much better in quality of writing.

I am still in the first couple hundred pages of Inheritance. School keeps taking me away from the books. The series is SOOO good, a good chunk of why my furry character is a dragon. Such good books!

Oh LAN parties. How I have yet to go to one and actually enjoy it. We had one here at school but I was just visiting at the time, so I didn't really stay. I also missed a GIANT League of Legends tournament LAN party....... Any idea of location yet?

So do you play it? I have played MANY MANY free MMORPG's but never really found any that were as interesting or as addicting as WoW was for me. (I don't play WoW any longer and havent for a couple years)

Was interesting. I also like the music, sometimes chip tune sounding..sometimes not. Good balance. Gameplay seemed pretty much impossible to me. I kill 1 enemy and I'm down to 1 health....

OH! That certainly interesting, and that Character is WAY too op for that dungeon. Is this a free game?

Yea. Really hard to get that inspiration. Or if you're like me, you have an idea in your head, but you just can't get the sound you are looking for.

K. So what I've heard just sounds very robot and midi like. I know the LPK25 have velocity sensitivity, so I am not sure if you are just playing every note at the same volume or if its just your samples. I've never actually heard of Renoise, but perhaps that is a more Euro based DAW. It seems that you are wanting to make dubstep style of music, and from what I can tell, you need a beat to push the music, and what you've got so far seems very dry. There isn't much punch to the low end. Reverb also can add so much to a track, so I really advise learning how to use reverb and manipulate how something sounds with that. Also, it seems that you are lacking a bass line. Beats should fit with the bass line. They should complement each other and play off each other.

I actually play drumset so perhaps i might be able to help, but I have a couple questions to ask so I can better understand what you are using. 1. What program are you using? 2. What are you using to input the drum pattern, like do you have a midi keyboard or a drumpad, or are you just clicking in midi notes? 3. What quality drum samples are you using. Having the right equipment sometimes makes a big difference when you're looking for a specific sound? 4. Do you have any samples of which I could listen to and critique?
