  1. i get whatever works. I don't know about too much on companies. My guitar is a cheap used alvarez, but it's one of the best guitars i've ever played. the action is buttery, the sound is full and the body is nice and large, which is great for percussion. the guitar is sooooo durable, i've literally beaten the crap out of it. i kicked it super hard at its side, fallen off a longboard while playing it, i bump it everywhere and take such crappy care of it. there are a couple cracks... but it's nothing to worry about. it is my beater guitar. And i love my guitar becuase of how it puts up with me. i use elixir 11's and my choice string. they are great for what i play: they emphasize very well. when i get an expensive guitar, it won't be about what company it's from. it will be how it drums. the first thing i do when i go guitar shopping is tap the "snare hits" on the side of the guitar, if that's good, i then check the action by simpling tapping random frets, note that this is before i actually take the guitar off the wall and wear it hehe. i got no amp or anything. i'm gonna hopefully get pickups inside the guitar, but guitar mic's will also do the job. I'm literally saving up for a studio, so that i can finally get the material i've had out, but also published, since i desire to become a successful independent artist. I'm getting a new computer, not sure what yet, just something that will last and is good for sounds... saving up for the highest fl studio pack x.x or maybe the 2nd most expensive since it's 600 bucks cheaper.... heh... i gotta get some mic's, but don't know what yet. and i'm getting a keyboard eventally, something with weighted keys and a mono-key option. i might get mixing toys eventally, but for now, i just need to record and produce: breakcore and newjazz is what my sanity is asking for. But yeah. i'm pretty basic when it comes to knowing exactly what i got. i don't care, i let the performance label itself
  2. i really like the atmosphericness that you're going for. this genre is awesome!
  3. hehehe. i know how that goes. and so does penter XP
  4. yayyy. another fur to follow on soundcloud ^.^ dude. this is chill. i love the drum machine you used and the sounds are pretty rad. what daw did you use?
  5. okay. first of all. I like the detail you can get with grass. I just started getting serious about visual art, and i'm starting to understand styles between artists and how they differ. Your grass impresses me, and the shadows. i can see how they're just lines on her clothes for wrinkles, but it's very subtle and it's cool how you do that. the detail on the dragon is legit. it looks very natural. I honestly don't know how you the scales like that. There's not much to critisize up front, but the background has a little more. The thing i noticed more than anything is that the flat ground looks like it's slanted, going down as it goes toward us. I'm honestly trying to figure out how to change that but i can't. Also, idk what you're using, but it looks digital and chances are it has layers. Layers are stupid, and you can only really teach yourself. But i'd say for the tree on the right, add a layer on that and color the tree so that it's in front of the fog. (Though personally, it looks cool imo, and i do things like that as i paint trippier art than normal.)
  6. dude. your style is very alive.
