My Mom's Dad fought in Iwo Jima (came back alive thank you God). In Iwo Jima my grampa was 1 of 7 survivors of his division. My Dad's Dad fought in chesty puller's division. If you do take your ASVAB, make it one good score. My dad scored so high, they offered him 5 things he could do in the USMC. His friend took Marine Force Recon. As it stands, I'm waiting to see where the world is going, really. When it comes time that I do decide to enlist, where we are and what our military is doing is going to play a huge role in what I join and decide to do.
