Messed around with proxy settings and got a connection back... finally. I am at school, so I have no idea whether or not it will work at home. I still need to take it in for repairs, but I know a guy who'll fix it for about $100 less than the shop where I got the estimate ^__^

I just got my laptop back from the shop... 150 clams to remove a virus and repair a dial-up modem... yikes. We just got DSL today and I was excited because now I can have internet access from my laptop from home, not just school and work... but... I swear... I'M ABOUT TO TAKE MY LAPTOP AND CHUCK IT OUT THE FLIPPIN' WINDOW AND THEN I'M GONNA HACK IT TO PIECES WITH A MACHETE!! AAAAGH!! It's being so super-retarded right now it's not even funny... I keep on getting stupid messages about "proxy server not responding" and it's driving me up the wall... it works JUST fine anywhere else, why not at home?! By the way, I did a virus scan... 736 infected files O__O I removed them, but it's still acting wierd. Ugh... I hate Smart Engine :dodgy: Sorry, had to vent a little frustration ^__^* *calms down* But everytime I try to type an address, the address changes to res://dnserror.ieframe.dll.htm..., or something like that. Everytime I diagnose it it gives me another stupid reason why it won't work, and I always follow the steps to fix it. Any suggestions?

Most of the tutorials I've found are on how to make those particular stilts (apparently they're rather popular). I can't find any other good examples and they don't sell any commercially (big surprise) except Weta Legs (look em' up... they're AWESOME (and expensive)). Anyway, like I said, it's no big deal. I'm not making a fursuit or anything with them, just thought it would be kinda fun to own a pair ^__^ Thanks for all the help! [EDIT] Sorry 'bout this. Yeah... I got bugged with Smart Engine Rogue Antivirus. It disabled all of my antivirus software and won't allow me to download certain file formats. It's SOOOOOOOOO frustrating, I've tried installing new antivirus software but it won't even begin the setup ;__; I could remove it manually, but I'd rather not crash my computer by deleting some important file. I suppose I'll have to take it in... :dodgy: *groans*

Yeah I found that page and copied a simple blueprint, but the virus on my laptop prevents me from downloading the entire PDF >=P ...and shame on them!!

This is no big deal by any means, but I've been trying to find some good blueprints/tutorials for digitigrade stilts or leg extensions. Most of the ones I've seen are either modified shoes, padding or boards strapped to the feet. "Weta Legs" are AMAZING (used by Pan in "Pan's Labyrinth"), but they are nearly $1000 a pop! Any suggestions? Feedback is MOST appreciated!
