  1. I've seen various sites do this... I find it extremely annoying and almost pointless. Having a ton of threads that you can read from that are 5 years old, but you can't post a question/comment in (even if it is relevant) means you have to make a new thread on the same subject. Waste of time and space, I think.
  2. Welcome Malredar! May you grow in The Faith and enjoy the forums!
  3. I disagree: -Collect a few old things from the gallery and showcase them -Note a few new/recent/popular topics -Note a few (or a lot of) new members -Direlda's Bible Study's still going on, it's current status could be included -Current proposed projects/ideas could be listed/outlined (for what CF should/could be doing) -Evangelism progress or problems or simple updates on various sites -A friendly "Hello, we still exist and we want to do stuff!" reminder would be good for any inactive members
  4. From recent discussions, I'm assuming that "we decided that we were going to do this" is no longer true... (and the fact I've never received any XD) What happened to the idea, anyway? I say we should start it up again!
  5. Not sure why, but when I clicked on "View New Posts", it didn't show me all the new posts. I knew that some were missing because I'd gotten an email about one that didn't display, so I clicked on "View Today's Posts", and sure enough, there were a whole bunch of bolded topics, signifying those that I hadn't read. Maybe I'm expecting to get all "unread" posts, but I thought that was the idea... I might've assumed that it was giving me all posts made since my last post, but that's not true. Right now it's telling me there are 2 new posts, one to "Forced Christianity" (to which I just replied 12 minutes ago), and one to "Double mindedness" about 30 minutes ago, which I happened to read before clicking "View new posts". How does it determine what is a "new post"?
  6. Lol, I'm meeting a lot of new people this way Hi Spaz!
  7. The only helpful indication is that there's the word "Quote:" at the top of each quote, but the box itself is nearly invisible. Perhaps something a little less white would be of use... Not like this (about the current colour)... But perhaps like this or this or even this. If it could be changed, please (with the exception of if everyone else can see it just fine or something), I'd appreciate it
  8. Hmm... 1. Public demonstrations (Christian-based plays/skits, furry-styled)? You'd probably need a few companions to do it with... 2. Perhaps putting a cross on your suit somewhere to display a symbol of Christianity 3. Get your community a furry club that can do good things around where-ever you live (depending on any opportunities to do so) Purposes of each: 1. Evangelistic activity 2. Reinforces Christian and furry idea 3. Proves to the public that furries can be good while doing good things ( == love == what Jesus wants us to do). About all I can think of at the moment...
  9. I went through what you've got and commented on each of them. Note I don't know any of the [musical] references you referred to, so to me it's all 100% new music (exception: in Dramatic Scene). Mock Rockman: Very interesting. Seemed like it was missing something, or like it would do well accompanying a segment in a movie. Sounded good, though. Mochizuki Serenade: Peaceful, with hints of "events"/"action". Enjoyable. Dramatic Scene: The beginning sounds familiar... it also sounds stressed (as in, tense music/emotions) Ended abruptly, sounded like it could use a continuation/segment. The Prelude: Nice and light, but the sounds that start almost mid-way through get a bit annoying in how they fade in from nothing every time. On the other hand, neat effects Like Dramatic Scene, sounds like you end it randomly (as in, there should be a "finale" of the sounds). Paradise of the Future: Beautiful! Sounds like an awesome piece of music to work/play to. Has beautiful sounds with a sense of a mission, small amounts of tension, and a good ending. It sounds like you could continue it for another minute, using the current ending as a "low point" in action/tensity, then escalating into something big again before finishing similar to how you have it now. Overall, enjoyed it very much Battle of the Unsung - Unsung Darkness Remix: Very "action-packed", it contains the "changing action" I'm trying to describe in Paradise of the Future. Although it's not my favourite (in the sense of 'not my flavour', not that it's 'not a good song'), it shows the good quality elements I think the previous ones I've commented on so far are lacking. Battle of the Unsung (2) - Very nice addition at around 20 seconds in. I like how you've got varying loudness at different times. Great beat to it! Not too bad of an ending. Also, although it may be because I've just listening to 2 variants of the same song, it sounds like you need more variance in the main tune (I have no idea how to describe it, but it has a few different notes -- long-medium, long-low, 2 higher (short-long), same long-low, 3 more in escalating pitch that are higher than all the others and all shorter, followed by 2 in the same pitch range in continual pitch-decline... if that helps any ) It just sounds like that is repeated to death, even though the entire thing might be shifted in pitch. Especially near the ending, it'd be good to have a significant variation. FL - Dissonance (OR) - I like the extra beats 45 seconds in. Very good, I could definitely listen to that multiple times. However, the ending is weak, just trailing off... like an unfinished sentence. FL - Quest Battle (no intro) - Wow :exclamation: Very intense (probably partially because of there being no introduction), and not necessarily in a 100% good way (it may be bordering on "too much noise", although it might be perfectly fine given an accompanying game/movie/introduction). I hear an electric sound twisting with other soft sounds (distantly similar to a car horn)... never heard that before. Sounds like it would be good in a battle scene/game. Overall - nice work! Some of the songs/tunes/loops/(whatever) need or could use extensions, and the endings of a number of them are weak.
  10. Erm... way too many XD I'm going to guess my family has approximately 40-50 board games and an untold number on PC (depends if you include the "3D pinball", "Minesweeper", free games from the Internet, etc ), and about 10-15 PS2.
  11. Welcome to the forums and CF, NotfisHawk!
  12. ...two? I'm not from Stratford... @Cryos, cool! I'm really good with Visual Basic (at least, compared to other programming I can do XD), I know some java, saw python but didn't like it, want to know javascript but don't, I know some HTML and basic CSS (but have forgotten a lot), and I know some C++ but haven't managed to actually do anything in it XD I think I mentioned QBasic, also... old thing I used for years, but I made some neat games with it!
  13. Heard of both, but don't really know where they are XD
  14. Thanks all Bible study was great! I'm from/in SE Ontario.
  15. Is this idea going anywhere? (any progress, etc)? I might be able to help out on programming a bit...

Several Dislikes: Memorization, illogical arguments, people doing harmful things based on faulty ideas, existance of poverty, attacks on Christianity, "Christian" attacks on fantasy books, and mindless violence in video games (and life).
