Rukh_Whitefang 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2011 If you, like me, enjoy fat riffs, double pedals, music that makes you feel like you've been hit by a train, played at volumes loud enough to make you mentally ill, post in here. I listen to a wide range of metal. From thrash to full out black metal. Favorite bands as listed: Demon Hunter DeathStars Project 86 To Pure To Die War of Ages Pantera (Old stuff) Metallica (Old stuff) Becoming the Archetype Bleeding Through Hatebreed All that remains Samael Rammstein Those are all I can think of off the top of my head. koshi† 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2011 Am I the only one here who likes August Burns Red? I've seen Becoming The Archetype, Inhale Exhale, and A Plea for Purging live. It was quite a brutal show I've also seen Maylene & the Sons of Disaster live. Whether or not they're "metal" is debatable, they're more like really hardcore southern rock. When it comes to it, I think all the other bands I mentioned are technically "metalcore", but that's a sub-genre, so I guess it counts. lol All bands mentioned above are Christian. Metal isn't even my favorite music though, it's just what I listen to when I feel like dancing. It's fun music...except most 80's metal and nu metal/rapcore just annoy me..
