Wingy† 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 It feels weird saying that prematurely. Real name: James (Don't feel comfortable/aren't allowed by parents to go by full name online. Eh.) Other names: Wingy, Winger, Winga, WingaCrusade, Light (Kinda? Get to know me and you'll find out :]), it's usually anything with Wing and something else past it, so never just "Wing" About your fursona: Well, I don't know if I exactly have a set in stone fursona. I have a rather active imagination, so I actually have several "characters", which I've never really felt comfortable calling "fursonas", but oh well. As far as Furry goes, I go by "Guardian". He arised from discovering my personality type being "Guardian" as well as discovering many, many other things that were of either a Guardian-like nature, or something else like that. He's a dragon. Colors... well, the strange thing about him is I never really defined them. To try and explain that, I have other characters I used to go by, for example, Light. He is a Light Blue Yoshi. So perhaps Guardian is light blue! But then again, my imagination will shift him all over the place. Web site(s): Noooope. Artist/Writer: Both! Well, kinda. I tend to be a math/sciency guy, till I discovered I kind of repressed both my artistry and writing side, my art side more. So unfortunately I'm bad at art, considering I have pretty much no practice, but I still have a passion for it! I also write, typically a specific fantasy story, yet I haven't worked on it, in my opinion, enough. On that subject, I could definitely tell you all about it (considering you had several hours time)! Style: Uhh... I don't consider myself very stylish (I'm assuming this is art or something? Not sure, but just imagine a big N/A over it.) Been to any cons: Nope! Fav. music: Alternative, Techno, hard to say specifically. I enjoy Switchfoot particularly, as well as Relient K, and in no particular order, Skillet, Pillar, Five Iron Frenzy... that's all that I can think of. Oh! And remixes of/original video game music. Likes: Art, Fantasy books, video games (definitely!), playing my bass guitar, making... things (in general), talking/typing, and others escape my mind... again. Oh! Friends. Love them. Dislikes: Decided not to do these as I can't really think of any appropriate ones. Church Denomination: Southern Baptist Anything else: Come and meet me! I've thought furries to be nearly devoid of Christians till recently, and I've felt rather alone in my ventures to make an impact. Come share with me, meet me, I would like to somehow get involved! And, nice to meet you all! EDIT: Seems I forgot to mention it like I planned to. I rather enjoy being called Wingy, although it doesn't matter too much to me. Feel free to play around with names (I have friends that'll call me Wingsta and it's all good!) EDIT (Because I forgot to answer all the questions D:): It's a story in itself why I'm called Wingy, and yes, I do sort of like birds - but that's not why. xD... I broke my elbow once (rather long story that I enjoy sharing because it was pretty bad heh), and had a full arm cast... my youth leader typically gives all the youth a nickname as they occur to him, and so he said it looked like a wing... and nicknamed me Winger. I wasn't called it much but I liked it enough, especially since two of my most furry attributes are an irrational love for wings and tails. Eventually a friend online affectionately called me Wingy, and I enjoyed it, and sort of bear the name in honor of that. I'll try and get around to getting in contact with each of you!
