She-King 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 I posted this suit a while back on it's fourth update, but got no feedback on it. I deleted it a few moments ago. I've since then made improvements and I'm happier than I was before. Tauntauns need more love in this fandom! Woot! Tauntaun pooooowww-eeerrr! Hehe, have no fear, I'm completely and totally sane. Sergals are very rare, but there are only four tauntaun suits in the fandom that I know of. I thought i would make one for the sake of Comic-con. I wanted a suit I could wear and people would easily recognize it, regardless of what fandom they were fans of. I'm tired of not being identified as what I am! (Huffs and puffs) This is my latest update. I've ran out of supplies to keep the project going. Well, I ran out of funds, really. I've done some rough math and I'm looking at about 200 dollars and then some for the amount of fur I need to buy. I'm buying two different lengths of fur and I'm also going to make my first body suit with her. I'm kinda scared. I want it to be form fitting to show off my female figure. Kinda going for a partial toony to fantasy look for my suit. I want people to know I'm a female. At least, I hope this helps. My first fursuit had gender identity problems with the public, lol. Whatcha think? The only things I need to add are the many horn nubs on the tauntaun's head and some additional foam ridges to the horns to make the foam stick up so when I coat it in faux leather, I get a texture similar to that of ram horns. Then, she'll be ready to fur and I can make the feet and the body suit! I'm so excited to finish this! So much so I'm kinda sad in general anymore about how I just don't have enough money to finish anything I've made so far. SnowBunny is my THIRD fursuit head. The second one was made because I had plenty of foam left over. I've made three total this year and this is my first year making fursuit heads period. Sadly, I have plenty of foam, but no fur. So I make stuff and have to set it down and move on. I don't like that. I don't even know what my suits look like finished, because I can't finish them in high quality fur to see if I have a good shape to my heads! She needs to be done so I can see my work! UUUGH! It's not as easy as to get where this vid is at now. ohmygosh, I had a nervous break down not to long ago with the mask because I hated how it looked and I couldn't figure out what was wrong that was making it look so...dumb, lol. I finally figured it out and I'm so relieved I could move forward. I hate it when I hit bumps like that. I'm sure there will be more in the future, though. Yes, duct tape for the pattern. She-King 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Working more on this gal today. My aunt says she's going to pay a visit to walmart later this week and she wants Snow to come with. Woot! I'm thankful for one family member that doesn't mind me being weird around her general vicinity, lol! Snow's ears need to be done, the back of the head needs to be sewn to the forelock Snow has. That's pretty much all that needs to be done for the rest of the head. Next, claws need to be put on the paw-paws, feet made, and her legs furred. I'm going to have a friend help me duct tape her legs. She has a tail all ready. Just legs and feet and she'll be complete! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
