If you get the PS3 version you get the PC version for free.

 

Yeah, my brother told me about that! Too bad we don't have a PS3 yet. :-/

I think the meme "the cake is a lie" is very funny for two reasons:

1) Because it was text on a wall in a sort of "rest area" in the game, it started as an in-joke.

2) The cake itself wan't really a lie--there was cake. True enough: GLaDOS never intends to give the character the cake, but the cake exists.

 

I find the game itself hilarious because it was a toss-in made on essentially no budget and was 100x more approachable than the more intensely developed games around it because it wasn't about killing or intricate character interactions. It's just a 3D puzzle game with an interesting and humorous plot.

 

And some of the funniest dark humour out there...

I got Portal 2 a day after it came out. I REALLY love Valve games! The Half Life and Portal Series' have an excellent plot that keeps you wanting to know more. Oh yeah, and if you want to know my Xbox gamertag just message me. I would love to meet some furs on this site.
