Flechmen 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 So, particularally IRC users will notice that we've been having some server issues lately. What happened was the main host, who has the servers for people's websites (Bible study and such), and IRC had something go horribly horribly wrong on their end. I don't know what happened, everything just went down, and was gone for 3 days. In this time, people poked me about getting SOMETHING for IRC up, so em.foxnet.in is running from my house. It's running in an absolute minimal configuration at the moment. Today, at some point, Fibervolt came back up, and some services resumed as normal. As of right now, that's the state of it. Last night, I figured out what was wrong with the server the forums run on, and that's why a number of people probably got a lot of emails from CF. That shouldn't happen again, it was a bug that was fixed by the people who make the Postfix mail software. Plans for the immediate future, I'll get the irc.foxnet.in address to point back to the correct location and stop running the IRC from my house. In the very near future, everything is shuffling around... but that shouldn't cause a whole lot of downtime for you guys! Thanks for understanding!
