supervanman† 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 I wouldn't TRULY know, since I've never even owned one, but I know that some goths and emos wear collars. Sure, they get looks, but they still wear em in public. I would think the same could be applied to furries as well. You can wear them, but just because YOU want to. Because people will always give you weird looks for standing out like that.
Kail† 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 I used to wear one, then I stopped being a fur, then I was a furry again, and now I'm not sure about the whole collar thing. I'm more one for solace, so I try to make sure I don't stand out too much.

Flechmen 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 You should be able to put just about anything on the ring on the collar.
Quiran† 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 i wear a collar, always, i made it myself, a blue one. i have some chainmaille hanging under it, soon though i am going to get an pawtag for it. i wear it all day and night, couse it wears comfortable and gives me some safe feeling it only gets of when im at church, or at work (image of compagny), couse not everyone accepts collars (its about bondage they tell me, know better) in public sometimes people ask me about my collar, i dont hide it, so it gives some nice conversations. i never had any negative reactions here, people think its different, but thats lovely from holland here, they dont mind others, they are realy accepting toward others. VC_Wolffe† 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 I wear one. Its a big o'l brown thing, with a gold tag and a gothic cross. I dont mind wearing it. But i know what you mean when you say it iches. I had to do some work on mine to get it comfertable. Like i took a lighter and burned away the little threads that iched and then used some fine sand paper to cut them down and make it smooth. I don't wear it all the time. Mainly cus i don't want anyone to know yet. I live in a small town where this furry thing is still unheard of. I think i would be burned alive if any one found out.
