I don't really think the ability to publicly state whether or not you like somebody is worth all the arguments it seems to be stirring up. Besides, we really shouldn't care about rating other people-- poor ratings could get in the way of our ability to communicate as equals (as evinced by a recent two-way conflict). Hybrilynx† 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2011 personally, if i had 100 negatives, and a positive that says "i only gave you a positive becuz i hate you, but feel sorry you have 100 negatives". i still wouldnt care. if you ask me, it should stay just becuz its already there. besides, negatives should be rare anyways. but it doesnt matter to me what happens. Galantine Knight Misticore† 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2011 How about a box that tells the person you were either happy with what they said in a post or upset about it, and leave it private between the users who engage in using the box, this way it can be more private Also the rating system I think does kind of blow, because if you meet new people then it already gives them a bad image of you.
