I'm pretty good with a turntable.

Eh, the only one's I've ever had were 1970s vintage home units. That wouldn't really do what you want. Go somewhere like Musicians Friend or a Guitar Center and ask the guys in the pro audio department.

I make techno using just the free demo version of FL Studio 9 ^_^

Of course if you really want to use a turntable, go for it :P

I someday want to get a Korg Kaossilator Pro to help me improve my sound a bit, and also just because they're fun to play with x3

I've been practicing at Best Buy' date=' and I really want to become a techno musician.

Thing is, I don't know which is the best turntable.

Any suggestions?

The term 'techno' is always pretty dubious but if you'd like to actually make electronic music you'll need more than just a turntable. And I'm not exactly the final authority on scratching/turntablism but in my experience, Numark's low-end stuff is worthless but their pro tables are really legit. Stanton tables are pretty nice but I don't know if I've ever seen a two-deck turntable. D: Guitar Center/Best Buy/Sam Ash etc. tend to have really sparse selections for two-deck-turntables-that-are-actually-worth-buying but their pro-audio guys tend to not be morons so it's worth asking them. I can scratch but I'm not a pro so you should probably just start googling things. For my personal music projects I tend to just program scratches myself and don't really do anything live but for a lot of musicians that means a level of dedication they don't really want to commit to. I use absolutely nothing buy my computer most of the time. (But I do have a funky jungle/breakcore project that has involved my guitar and bass before)

The best thing I can compare it to is mixing up bands like Gorillaz and Daft Punk.
