  1. heh, well, they're not much like boots at all. just rubber shoe-sandals
  2. I do wish to help... this is very good writing. i do understand, and it is conveyed very well. it's touching and moving...and all too real.
  3. thanks Annx! A vehicle can truly have it's own personality just like an animal, anthro, or human can, and i love designing them for such a thing!
  4. they are worthless rubber shoes that are a bit like sandals. however, the rubber is so soft that they rub down and become flat and treadless in about a year. http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0662/0509/files/Screen_Shot_2015-07-22_at_11.34.03_large.png?14437347170543134299
  5. we'll never be completely sinless in this life, but we do our best to shun every sin. even though we are attacked constantly and fall down, we stand back up and fight again. (falling down reminded me of the time i went to get my mom's protein bars and was jogging along in crocs (because they were the only shoes i could grab quickly) in the rain. i was fine running on the wet tarmac of the road, but as soon as i stepped on the slick blue painted cement leading to the store, i INSTANTLY fell onto my bum. right on my keys too xp but i got right up and kept going. walking back on the cement, i nearly fell twice just walking at a normal pace. so yeah, never wearing crocs in the wet again.)
  6. Heh, well, back in 1956 when my Grandpa first bought the car, it couldn't even move under it's own power much less do wheelies. but a little money on the side, a few years of hard work, and it's given him a hobby for nearly 60 years! (also, the car was appropriately named "Budget Buster" after an engine failure ;3 it's gone through 5 engines and more drag racing configurations than you can count.) hopefully, these writings will be put to use and sent out to reveal God's glory to the world!
  7. My grandpa hit retirement ages ago and he has a certain hobby that certainly keeps him busy: My mother is planning to do volunteer work and also wants to promote a book she wrote: Through Me to You http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/through-me-to-you-eve-wick/1120140622?ean=9781490843650
  8. ah, that's cool. I'd like to be a performance vehicle engineer and work on developing performance cars (i'd just about take any position available to work in an environment like that!), namely in Chevrolet, SRT, or Falcon Motorsports.
  9. well Pharlim, here's a video for you next time you want to take a crack at it! Theocracy is a great band, and i think their Christmas selection is top notch. however, i lean towards the punky spectrum of rock (though i dab in just about everything from techno to hurdy gurdies), and love bands like Dogwood and Children 18:3
  10. i shall pray for your mother, Spirit. My own mom is battling her own depression and also stress and anxiety over retirement, but she's overcoming it and the light at the end of the tunnel is coming soon ^^
  11. Hello and welcome! Make yourself at home here. No need to worry about real names. It's not necessary when furries are so much more awesome! I wish you the best with your walk in Christ and towards your christian club. (right now, i'm in college myself, albeit i switched to far cheaper online courses) we have a few artists on the site, myself included. maybe someone will draw you an icon ^^ you can also find tutorials around the internet and have people help you develop some basic art skills to build off your own style progressive rock/metal, hm? do you like Theocracy?
  12. Welcome! I know of two christian furs not too far away. G-root, one of my close brothers in Christ, is one and he'll be on in a bit ^^ your fursuit and your art is great! I draw myself, but i think you are better than i am (most especially when it comes to ferals) ^^; http://kieth-wolfe.deviantart.com/gallery/ what kind of engineering do you do? i'm studying to be a mechanical engineer myself!
  13. I usually pray (real prayers, not ritualistic standard ones) once or twice a day, sometimes more. However, I've never thought to put prayers here. Sometimes it's stuff I like to keep between me, God, and anyone I'm praying for. I do think we should encourage people to share prayers here though.
  14. amazing work and glad to hear it! i've shown a few people faith in Christ but i haven't had the luck in bringing them to faith. however, I've helped some of those in faith stay in faith and helped them find hope and joy and guidance when they needed it ^^;
  15. no, he's crying because he wanted to be a furry but he didn't want to be a furry at the same time XD hehe, nice one ^^ but it's true, Thomas nailed it on the head. it doesn't matter what we label ourselves as, the only thing that matters is our belief and our love ^^
  16. *gasp* A HYOOMUN! I THOUGHT THOSE WERE EXTINCT! heya there, i'm the resident clown mutt nice to meet you and i hope you enjoy your stay ^^ on the topic of furry in denial though: http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/929/891/358.jpg
  17. Thanks Kail, glad you enjoy them ^^
  18. your grammar could still use a little work in terms of your verb use. like in your third sentence in Ch1, "If I wouldn't have gotten this done by Sunday, I would be losing a big deal here" is not great. "If I didn't get this done by Sunday, I would be losing a big deal of money." is improved as you have less verbs that are more direct, and "here" is replaced with a more direct statement or what your deal is. also, check your speech sentences for quotes. such as when the secret services stop you, what they spoke isn't in quotes. and it's ballsy, not ballzee. sentences like: "the movie was a bit boring so I changed it to some classic cartoons like thundercats and some other stuff." could be improved by, again, being more direct: "the movie was a bit boring so I switched over to a classic cartoon channel and watched thundercats and other cartoons." also, your edit in Ch5 is not functioning well. you're claiming to be scared by what is a (presumably empty) garage, and it's later called two rooms (what they were before the edit). i would load it with weapons and armored military vehicles. then you'd have a right to be scared. (or, as per my story, you could have a room filled with artificial AnTHRROS "wombs" that are empty. similar in style and concept to the stasis module in Avatar that developed the Na'vi bodies, but upright.) however, the improvement is very good. a little work and it would be professional quality ^^
  19. thanks Groot. these are the best i've done to date.
  20. all these drawings I've poured my heart and soul into for years and no one has said anything as simple as "good job" or "nice work"... eh. I guess it's just me.
  21. well, just keep looking with an open mind and an open heart and see what sticks to you when you express your furriness x3 hah, that's cool x3
  22. aw poo, not close enough for me to get to. (bit on a leash down here ^^ but anyway, well, if you want to be like a fox but unique, there's similar animals: mongoose, ferrets, otters, coyotes, dingos, maned wolf (which isn't actually a wolf), Shiba Inu, Akita, or an American Eskimo (those last three are dogs, i know, but they're not the overpopularized types ^^) but onto music, i remember this interesting song from God-knows-when:
  23. Hello and welcome! (wouldn't happen to be anywhere near FL now would you?) anyway, glad to see you here! anything you need help with, we'll be sure to do our best to help you. Also, since your fursona is undecided, i'd like to ask: what kinds of fursonas have you been thinking about having?
  24. A look into my backstory through some older drawings: Cobalt is a man-made creation who goes to set the world straight. a creation who will never back down. even at the brink of death: ^^;
  25. Cobalt riding out on his motorcycle, a turbocharged Ducati 1199. this is my favorite drawing to date A drawing of Cobalt in the fur, to get a good idea on what I look like. Digitally edited by a good friend of mine to make the eyes pop out perfectly. He did an amazing job and made it look way better with that simple little edit. I love taurs. they're so weird and fun. this is a chakat friend i met a long while ago my best friends, and those i call brothers. (all christian furs, however, the only one of them are on here is Zvoc ) I love doing cars. this was a concept i based off the 1971 Brubaker Box/Automecca Sports Van: includes 4-wheel steering, full four wheel drive from electric motors front and rear, and its basically designed to be the smallest, sportiest, most efficient, and most fun van possible. a wildly different concept, the Cerberus: this car is basically designed to be less of a car and more of an extension of your body. drew it out of a dream i had. sorry for the poor paper- i drew it on the back of a Nickelodeon Hotel map. didn't have anything with me then. Dakar Warrior #81: my diesel-electric hybrid race truck built for the Dakar rally,built wild and unlimited in every way. I love it. OK THAT'S THE LAST CAR I PROMISE XD
