  1. What's wrong with the show friends? I used to really enjoy watching that when it was on >w< http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb7IEuwyToc
  2. Two things, why is there three pages of non-existence, and is a song like sympathy for the devil accepted here? It's not satanic, and it's a fantastic song, but I'm wondering about it's general acceptance. I know this isn't Grandma's house so I don't need to worry about hearing rock and roll is devil music, but this song has it in the title xP If not then here's some Homestuck remixes.
  3. Totally off topic book recommendation available, should i just make a book thread or is there one already made?
  4. Absolutely! Never wear one in a formal or professional situation, and it's not just because it's furry related either. In Job environments people with tattoo's usually have to cover them up with long sleeves, so it's a matter of personal interest clashing with profession, a common and unwanted, preferably avoided situation, much easier with collars than tattoos and piercings.
  5. I had and have a struggle with people questioning me on the subject. It's an external situation, not internal. Thanks for all the acceptance.
  6. Wow that is not very good luck! I'm sorry for your pet, and i wish you the best of luck in dealing with all that follows :c
  7. @Faolon A nice run down, but I may be less willing to yield than I appear to be. I certainly won't yield to social pressure very easily, just as you wouldn't from the atheist furs on your site. Though I was raised a Christian, I fell apart from the religion. I went to church as a kid, they had me take bible school, I'd go to bake sales and do food drives. But as i grew up it made less and less sense to me personally. So I stopped attending mass at church. But I still come by and drop off food, or shoe box gifts around Christmas, and I still donate to causes I feel deserve. So the way I see it I came out with a good moral compass with or without the religion itself. For me it is a matter of morality, and personal standards as well. And thanks to everyone else who said hi to me as well!
  8. Agnosticism and Atheism are hard to define. Agnosticism would imply I have a shaky belief of God but need further reason to solidify my believe. But as it stands it would take a solid amount of proof for me to convert, which I would be willing to do given proof, scientific mind set and all. Of course I have read the bible, and I know all the faith based arguments against this, so no need to go into them, just presenting my justifications. Thank you for the welcome, and I will try the IRC some time soon.
  9. I would certainly hope so. Thanks.
  10. I agree with you. I'm an Atheist as of now, but i don't actively go out and put down others in their faith like some people do. If someone has questions about my lack of faith, and they address the issues they have with me in a respectful manner, it ends up a peaceful and often enjoyable, enlightening conversation from both ends. I don't mind people telling me things about their faith at all, I welcome hearing about things people feel, and i like extending a helping hand. I can't say I'm doing any Gods work because I don't personally have one, but I am trying to make myself, and everyone i come into contact with better people.
  11. But people with similar opinions can also have very conflicting opinions, which can cause debate. My point with this being that I may say something that disagrees with what someone else is saying, but i don't think friendly debate should necessarily be a problem, so long as the people involved with it are being calm and respectful towards each other.
  12. I'm afraid I could never comply with putting God first in every aspect of my life, but I appreciate that you are willing to accept the differences we share and move on with a friendly relationship despite that. I also don't think a place with all like minded people would be very interesting, so excuse me if i ever say something that seems offensive, because i promise it's never meant that way. I would be glad to stay so long as i am welcome.
  13. The way you say it, it sounds like I can love myself, and others, while maintaining a respectful balance of morality and attitude, and still be doing the same thing, without there being a God involved. That being said, that's what I do, so I'm not exactly in a hurry to convert, just curious about what others think of my thoughts.
  14. A rather gruesome way to put it. But yes, if it is as all possible to convert me, it's with honey not vinegar.
