Hello, I am a forum lurker, and an aspiring artist. Recently I have been thinking about having an art giveaway for all of the users on this forum. This is my DeviantArt account. The details are as follows: I will be giving away One Drawing of the winner's fursona, in traditional mixed media, with a simple background. I will be accepting entries effective immediately, and the contest will end on December 20th, 2010 at 11:59pm (EST). And your entry must be received during this period. Any entries after this period will be illegitimate. You may only enter once. Multiple PMs will be ignored. Entries are only accepted by PM. To have your name entered in the drawing, you must PM me this basic form: Name (real or user): Fursona Name: Fursona Reference Photo (preferred for accurate rendition, but optional) : Fursona Description: The winner will be decided and announced on the 21st. To make sure the names are accurately randomized, the list will be entered on www.random.org. The drawing will then be completed, and I will send the scan of it to the winner on December 25th, 2010. Optional details: If the winner so desires, I will ship them the completed drawing free of charge in the weeks following Christmas. This is completely up to the user, and I will give them the option when I send them the completed drawing scan. Please post questions and comments on this thread. Thank you!

This sounds interesting! Would you be able to discuss with the person whose name you got to see what they would like?

I'm still trying to figure out how to do the more realistic ones... It's hard to make things look right when putting one pixel in the wrong place makes things look a ton different... >_>

Sorry for the double post. I was messing around in paint, but it was driving me insane after using photoshop for so long, and so I caved and I downloaded GIMP on to my computer. Anyways, after I did that then I made these emoticons. I'll probably make a few different styles and have you guys tell me what's best. Normal smiley version: More realistic version:

Well, that shouldn't be too hard to make Flechmen. =) I'm probably going to make them all in paint while I'm on my computer, and then use our really old computer (that has photoshop and hates me with a passion) to make the transparent parts, since that won't take long.

I'll mess around with some designs and see what I can do. =3

Since I joined this forum, I had this little idea playing in the back of my mind that since this is a furry forum, shouldn't it have furry related emoticons? While I was considering this, the thing is that I don't know what I should make them look like. Since I'm a wolf(ish) furry I would want to make them all canines, but furries aren't just limited to that. So, this is where you guys come in. I would appreciate if each person would give one or two suggestions as to what they would like to see as to creatures, colors, and different emotions. Also maybe future ideas as I'll be able to slightly animate them once my dad lets me load photoshop on my new computer. Also, I think it would be best if you didn't ask me to make emoticons related to your personal furry. This is just for the basics, and for the whole forum, and I wouldn't want to deal with any problems of people possibly fighting over emotion they want their fursona to be using. I think I covered everything, so please consider helping me out. =)

Yay, Pokémons!! *squeals like a little kid* I am an avid pokemon player, although I prefer the mystery dungeon games. I'm really looking forward to Black & White! Especially because I hear that that characters aren't ten year olds this time. Maybe with older teenager characters then we'll have some better, and maybe more dangerous plots. Zoroark is a really awesome looking pokemon. 0_0 He'll fit right in to my collection of canines such as Lucario, Poochyena, and elektrike.

I was born in february, so I guess you like the tempurature of your birth month the best. =P And oh dear, Im assuming like girls are rare on this forum? And I have been drawing for quite a while, with it being pretty much the only thing I'm good at.... now if only I could learn to keep a schedule... >_>

Hey there! =) Your fursona is very unique. If I made myself a secondary fursona I would want it to be something not often used too. What made you decide on a polymorphic fursona? Kingdom Hearts music is amazing! Square Enix makes some of the best music for their games, even on their itouch games though not as many people know about those.

Real name: I am known to most people as Serene Chia, but that isn't technically my name, and I only let one person call me by my real name. Serene Chia is fine. Other names: Reen, Little Chi, Rena. About your fursona: She probably would be considered a werepyre since she is a werewolf with wings. She has purple fur and darker purple hair, and she usually wears tank tops and shorts. She has the ability to grow her wings at will, but she usually prefers to go wingless, which I'm sure you would too if you had to alter all your clothing to have wing holes, and you kept hitting your friends when you turned around. Other than that, she has a small marking on her left cheek that glows when she is especially emotional, (or just about every time I draw her,) and she usually has the powers of fire and ice manipulation.
