Ohyoupokedmr† 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) This is to get people to spread each others taste in music. Basically, all ya need to do is share a song through youtube, and the person below responds with some things they liked about it and some they didnt. Then that person posts their own song. Try not to do too well known songs and please keep them appropriote according to the rules. Ill start http://youtu.be/gSjUrc4ZEJs Edited May 30, 2015 by Ohyoupokedmr 1 JosiahtheTiger reacted to this
Kail† 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2015 Okay, so, I really liked this song. At first I was biased against it because of the rap (I'm predisposed to not like the genre in general because of all the garbage I've heard, and I also like things with melody more), but then it changed styles, and not only that, the lyrics were intensely relatable and honest. I liked the mashup of styles in the end on top of the brutal honesty in the song. Okay, now for me:
Fahn† 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Honestly not a fan at all of contemporary Christian music. I do like the folksy/bluegrass elements to it, but it's just not my cup of tea. Then again, my music isn't most peoples' cup of tea, either. Deep Forest - Viva Madikeri Edited May 30, 2015 by Fahn 1 Kail reacted to this
Cody Lucario† 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 I love experiencing different cultures and music has always been one of my absolute favorite things, so I rather enjoyed that song. I probably would have been more interested had it not been Indian, that's not a culture I particularly care for. Not being racist or anything, just their's doesn't interest me as much as others would. 1 Kail reacted to this

Ohyoupokedmr† 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2015 Very interesting song. A nice and different mixture of instruments. I kept getting different vibes as the song continued. The singer has a very calm voice to me. Overall good song, would listen to more of his stuff :3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOBay3G4aQU
Spirit Bear 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2015 I like the beat to that piece. The vocalist's words pour out clearly and do not get trapped in the musical mesh that supports them. It's not my cup of tea, but I'd not be displeased to hear him. Another thing is that the lyrics have real substance to them and were well-written. Here is one of my favorite worship-songs-- I warn you that it may be more than you expect unless you know this band for more than the song posted earlier from them. Read the lyrics and see nothing but praise to God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5ZlDC5qETE
Rythe† 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Ah yes, Wolves at the Gate. I really wish I could like them more, and I think the crux of it is that the music doesn't support and mesh with the lyrics as I could wish. It's a tricky thing with this style, but All That Remains is closer to my sweet spot by comparison. Still, quite liked the chorus of Wolves' Awaken; powerful lyrics in general. And this is where I normally link The Passing of the Blue Crown, but... Let's go with the sibling trio: Oh Bravo by Children 18:
