HoboFawkes† 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Hey-o! Nice to meet'cha! How's a virtual High School work? Kinda like homeschooling mashed with online classes?
Remus† 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Nope, not like homeschooling, it's really a unique thing to be a part of, still not entirely sure how it all will work. Mostly th teachers will give lessons and assignments through a chat room, forum, or video/audio clip. They also use online versions of the normal schoolbooks

Direlda† 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Welcome! /me bows in greeting I may try to go to AFF (seeing as it is in WA), though transportation over the Cascades and a place to stay will be issues if I choose to do so. There's Rainfurrest in Seattle this September, which I am hoping to make my first convention attended. And those are the only major ones "nearby" that are in the U.S. (see the furry convention map thread for more information - it's a useful, in my opinion, resource I found). Anyways, nice to meet you!
