I didn't want to have to stand in line for hours, but because it is such a big game, they the store texted those with pre orders that that had to come in 2 hours before launch to finalize payment. The multiplayer is supposed to be phenominal. But without a competent singleplayer mode, it is hard for me to justify paying $60 for it. I like the multiplayer, maps are huge, and you have to be super tactical...which for me, I'm terrible at. My games so far have not gone positive, haha. Everything totally makes me paranoid, bullets everywhere. Campaign from my play so far is boring, nothing too exciting. Hope it gets better, I want games with good campaign and multiplayer. I always said that the Call of Duty series began and ended with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. That said, if it turns out good, I'll look into it. I know what you mean regarding Battlefield. Origin is a pain, but BF3 is so worth it. On another note, I love hardcore mode. People die fast and you need to play smart. I find myself playing support because the M249 SAW, M240B and M60E4 are in this game, and I've already got the M249 and M240B. A deployed machine gunner in the right spot rakes in kills.
