Imagined lies

Swift my mind and eyes lie

They take away my peace inside

Little comfort either are, in the face of slipping sanity

Time wasting under my feet

Hope runs away in my world of dreams

The walls crash down and floor beneath me shakes

In the caverns, trapped by my own destinity

 

Heavy stones upon me rest

Through blurry dust the starlight soaks

On my desprate eyes the sun could not shine brighter

My feeble imagination, crushed by the weight

Metal in my mouth as the last star fades

Alone in the despration of my thoughts

Moving pointless in the warmth of uncertainity

 

In gasping pain, unsure breaths

My thoughts exposed in reality

The mind tourtured by passing of time

The body forgotten by it's companions of lies

Stumbling though to the next mental chamber

Horrors of its own design to endure

As it pays forever the joy now past.
