Galantine Knight Misticore† 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2011 You write stories, Riddle kat? By the way, I'm looking for a bad guy in my book and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me a little about your fursona (not sure if that is how u spell it), cause your avatar gives me a creepy feeling with that smile and I would like to have a bad guy like that in my book. Maybe if I knew more about that character it could help me write his actions better. Also I would like to read your writing, because it helps us both out in creative writing skills. So go ahead and post it.

Galantine Knight Misticore† 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2011 When it comes to writing, there are authors and then there are writers. Authors present their work for others to see, and the writers wait till they feel comfortable to present their work or begin to write. If you are to write a story, always think about why you are writing it, and what you hope to achieve from writing it. For this will give you the will to write, and the reason to show it. I have a story that is 260 pages long about a man who wishes to bring peace to the world but does not wish to kill. I wrote it giving him cool features such as being a cyborg and not being able to die from natural causes, plus a bit more to his villain who was actually himself from the future. Its all in first person, but my problem is that I cannot finish it, nor do I want to continue writing it. It was because I forgot what I was writing it for, and now it collects the dust upstairs never read by anyone else but myself. That is why I say, be sure that before you write, that you sort out your goal of why you want to write the story. The reason why I write American Furry, is because I want to entertain the audience and improve my skills in story writing. That is enough to give me the urge to write. I also want to share a bit of myself with the character, so that way I can be more expressive. Its difficult to combine spirituality in the story because so many in the world today feel like they are being manipulated, yet that doesn't stop me from expressing my ideals through the main character. Anyways, I hope this will help promote you to writing more easily rather then having to go through it in experience. I also have a short horror that I did in College for a creative writing class, if you want to view it, just let me know.
