I tried modding morrowind a lot. I never was any good at retexturing or modeling, so the only mods I ever made were just custom weapons that used already existing weapon models and other such things. I made a mod one time that added "throwing coins" xD I also made a custom race called the "Junkman" who was just a guy made out of plates and silverware and jugs, etc. I uploaded the mods on planet elder scrolls, but it's been so long since I've been on that site that I can't remember what I called them or even what my username was.

 

As far as Skyrim though, I've read the Game Informer article they had about it, and I'm pretty excited about Skyrim. It does look like they are taking it more in the direction of an action game and not an rpg, but I think that's a good thing, there were a lot of things I didn't like about Oblivion, but I still liked Oblivion. Morrowind was great, but some things frustrated me (ex: swinging a sword at a guy and watching it hit him, only to find out that behind the scenes, you missed; also the fact that a weapon with paralysis on strike could kill anything in the game if your weapon skill was at all decent and if the weapon had enough charge).

 

The thing I'm most excited about though is kind of a trivial feature actually: dual-wielding! xD

If I get it I'm going to make a Khajiit character with two swords

I love both Morrowind and Oblivion. The music from those games are so peaceful and awesome. :heart:
