Fahn† 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 Lord, We thank you for all the blessings you've bestowed on us, even though we don't deserve them. You are a kind and loving and merciful God, and we are forever grateful for what you've done for us. Thank you for sending your only son Christ Jesus to die for our sins, so that by believing that he gave His life for us and rose again, we can have new life in Him and spend eternity at His feet. A day in the house of the Lord is greater than a thousand elsewhere, and though we have trials and tribulations to face in this life, we have an eternity to look forward to in a place with no more pain, no more suffering, no more hunger or sickness or death... a place with You. Lord, as Christmas is nearing let us remember the reason for the season. It's not about Santa Claus or presents or any of that... its celebrating the day that God came to earth as a human being, a tiny baby boy, to ransom mankind with His life and redeem us forever. We ask that you heal the sick, and take care of any needs that need to be met here, and that you forgive us of our sins.
