As the last of the of the day falls, The deep purple maw of the night swallows the wood. My breath freezes as it leaves my lips, The pale snow etching at your mind As the sounds commence upon me. The soft pads of the lynx crunch through the powder, The claw of the wolf clicks against the solid creek. And the howl shatters the night. My eyes burst open, The eyes of the forest stare at me, Petrified, Silent, upon the ground, My soul shakes and shudders. Waiting for the warm dawn to rescue me. I had to write this for Lit. class- my friends liked it so I figured I'd post it here

I just downloaded GIMP, It seems really interesting. Instead of Corel Painter my tablet came with Photoshop Elements. I already have something called CoreFx It's pretty basic so GIMP seems like its gonna be helpful.
