  1. Hello, 18 y.o. gal who parlez the français. I used to speak some. but three years of high school lessons apparently didn't stick, as i don't remember half of what I learned. :/
  2. RE: compatability: If I hear one more person complaining about how Windows/Linux/Other OS is incompatible with the software they need, or that to get that functionality, they need to pay money, I'll scream. I really will. This argument is patently false. EVERY file type you could want to open is supported on EVERY major OS variant. EVERY software type you could want to run is supported on EVERY major OS variant. If you say otherwise, you're a fool. That, or you simply don't know what you're doing. It's fine to have a favorite, and avoid using the ones you don't like as much whenever possible. Just don't make up facetious reasons for the behavior. Don't pretend that there's any more reason than personal preference. Because there isn't. Your personal preference is reason enough. Don't make up other reasons just because you think others will find them more palatable.
  3. oh, flechmen. one thing: it's actually quite easy to boot Linux using the windows bootloader... Just download and run EasyBCD [ http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 ] and do the following: If EasyBCD asks for a boot drive just select your windows partion Choose Add/remove Entries At "Add an Entry" select "Linux" Change 'Type' to "Linux" Put whatever name you want in the Name box At 'Drive' select your Linux partition Click "Add Entry" Click "Save" Restart, you're done ^.^
  4. Several Vitas songs. the guy is good, and i can't stop looking up his videos. (for the record, i don't know word one of russian) His take of Lucia di Lammermoor (sung in the Fifth Element, only in the movie the gal who sang used a synth. Vitas don't need a synth) Krikom Zhuralivnym (crane's crying) Seems to be about guardian angels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flrga0mGh78 Pocelui. Dunno what it's about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdqLec6uz28 Opera 2. not sure what it means, seems to be about fish-men that can't find love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygJYxMP_ICY Smile! Again not sure. Depressed musicians? Mama. a song to/about his mother
