Post-o-Matic 3.16† 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2009 Morning Bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to pre-sent your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.—Just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.—Neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them. “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”—“I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” Col. 1:10; Rom. 12:1, 2; Rom. 6:19; Gal. 6:15, 16; John 15:8; John 15:16 (Read full verses...) Evening I sought him, but found him not. Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take with you words and return to the LORD; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good.” Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God. . . .” But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. . . . Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!—It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.—“Will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?” For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salva-tion. . . . For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
