One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.—In Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.—As a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. He is not ashamed to call them brothers.—“Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”—“Go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father.’” I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. . . . Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.—That apart from us they should not be made perfect.
