Post-o-Matic 3.16† 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2009 Morning And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.—More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.—You knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.—Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts. James 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:6, 7; Rom. 5:3, 4; Lam. 3:26; Heb. 10:34-36; 2 Thess. 2:16, 17 (Read full verses...) Evening God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.—“The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son. . . . And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.”—“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: ‘The Son of God . . . has eyes like a flame of fire.” And they say, “How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”—“These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you.”—“Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.” O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you.—Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind.
