Post-o-Matic 3.16† 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Morning “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly . . . in all wisdom. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Death and life are in the power of the tongue.—The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.—Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. “We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”—I believed, even when I spoke. “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven.”—With the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Matt. 12:34; Col. 3:16; Prov. 4:23; Prov. 18:21; Ps. 37:30, 31; Eph. 4:29; Acts 4:20; Ps. 116:10; Matt. 10:32; Rom. 10:10 (Read full verses...) Evening I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face. Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down.—As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?—Make haste, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.—Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.—God our Savior and . . . Christ Jesus our hope.—Though you have not seen him, you love him. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!—It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” 3 John 14; Isa. 64:1; Ps. 42:1, 2; Song 8:14; Phil. 3:20; Titus 2:13; 1 Tim. 1:1; 1 Pet. 1:8; Rev. 22:20; Isa. 25:9 (Read full verses...) << Jul 13 | Jul 14 | Jul 15 >> Excerpted from Daily Light on the Daily Path ©2002 Crossway Books, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers.
