Post-o-Matic 3.16† 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2009 Morning “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”—“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”—In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”—Our sufficiency is from God. “Lead us not into temptation.”—I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.—My times are in your hand. Ex. 33:14; Deut. 31:6, 8; Josh. 1:9; Prov. 3:6; Heb. 13:5, 6; 2 Cor. 3:5; Matt. 6:13; Jer. 10:23; Ps. 31:15 (Read full verses...) Evening Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works. “How forceful are upright words!”—I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder. Those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name.—“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone.”—Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Let us . . . decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.—Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. . . . Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
