Forgive the covetous desires of people and nations to posses what is not their own. Forgive the greed which exploits the labors of men and women and lays waste the earth. Forgive our envy of the welfare and happiness of others. Forgive our indifference to the plight of the homeless and the refugee. Forgive the lust which dishonors the bodies of men, women, and children. Forgive the pride which leads us to trust in ourselves and not in you.
