Post-o-Matic 3.16† 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Morning “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD. He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.” “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering.”—“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”—And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.—“A ransom for many.” “No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again.”—I will love them freely.—The Son of God . . . loved me and gave himself for me. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.—He has blessed us in the Beloved. I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. . . . I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”— . . . those who trust in their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches? Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life, for the ransom of their life is costly.—“I have found a ransom.”—But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Ps. 86:13; Matt. 10:28; Isa. 43:1, 11, 25; Ps. 49:6-8; Job 33:24; Eph. 2:4, 5; Acts 4:12 (Read full verses...) << Apr 21 | Apr 22 | Apr 23 >> Excerpted from Daily Light on the Daily Path ©2002 Crossway Books, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers.
