For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. “My days are swifter than a runner; they flee away; they see no good. They go by like skiffs of reed, like an eagle swooping on the prey.”—You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning: in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers.—“Man who is born of a woman is few of days and full of trouble. He comes out like a flower and withers.” And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.—They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever. Praise the LORD!
