I just finished writing this song, I think it took me about 1 - 2 hours to write, it has no title yet

if you want to add/change anything, feel free to, but please let me know

 

Verse 1:

 

I ride into the night,

to try to forget my past

but as much as i want it

I know this fleeting freedom

will never last!

 

chorus:

 

Can not forget what you did to me

can not forget that it's my destiny

to never know the reason of my existence

and to your grip on my life

i offer no resistance, no resistance

resistance is futile!

 

verse 2:

 

Now you leave me to my fate

i'm locked within this selfmade prison of hate

and it's much too late

i'm stuck here without a way to escape

to escape my meaningless fate

so many things have gone so wrong

and i want to end it all, so i take the offered knife

and so i think i've ended it all!

a voice wakes me from my comatose sleep

so i forgive your past transgressions, and i promise to you

my life and heart to keep!

Forgiven of past transgressions

forgotten all past aggressions

now i know my destiny has changed

now i know, that the reason to my existence

and the reason to my life

is you!

 

Reprise part 2:

 

no longer am i locked to a meaningless fate

no longer am i bound in the prison of hate

i know, it 's never too late to change my mind

but i know i never will

to you i give the key to my heart

i give to you, the key to my very soul!

You are my reason to live!

You are the meaning to my existence!

And I never will leave you!

 

I dunno exactly how it should sound, but I was thinking maybe of something along the lines of alternative (like breaking benjamin or something like that)
