Holywolf† 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2010 I had made it, as I stood here staring at the seemingly utopian metropolis which sprawled through the valley below me I felt a pang of of doubt. Indecisive thoughts rushed, unbidden, through my head and a cold shard of cut through me from head to tail. I smirked at myself for being afraid after all I had been through to get here and that one small action blasted all the fear and doubt from my being and replaced it with a cool confidence and steely determination. As I made my way down the sharp incline I thought only of the mission awaiting me at the heart of that golden city. My name is Vulpuz Vakshirgath, and I'm gonna blow the whole city back to Hell. Holywolf† 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 Flying down the sheer face of the cliff I found myself considering all the things that had brought me back to the place where I had spent most of my life. As well as the events that had freed me from the chains of this city. As I reached the base of the cliff and strode down the broad path leading to the main gate of the bustling metropolis I felt a sense of dread "Should I really be coming back to this nightmare?" I thought. I had been rescued when I didnt even know I was in danger but now I was heading right back into the web of the spider. Just as I was being tormented by these thoughts I heard a familer voice behind me "Your not backing out now are you?" I looked back to see the smiling face of my wife, a white wolf named Rena. "Hmph you should know me better than that by now." I said as I turned back around and strode back into the city of Nis.
Holywolf† 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2010 I had forgotten what this city was like as I walked down the street ,Rena close at my side, I was assaulted by familer emotions though one feeling prevailed and that was temptation. I had the desire to rejoin the denizens of this squalid city for that is what I now saw. My eyes, once decived by the wiles of this retched place, were now opened by my rescue from this place. The city called Nis from the outside looking in appeared as a wonderfully beautiful paradise but now that I was on the inside I saw the truth. There were no golden spires or beautiful mansions it was in fact an cesspool, a rotten disgusting place of utter decay but the worst part was that the denizens had no idea of their surroundings the saw not the truth but the lie. The lie that had once decived me and even now was trying to pull me back into its clutches.
