Connecting to IRC channels in Icechat
How to connect to an IRC channel with Icechat (specifically, CFF).
Open Icechat Left click on one of the servers in "Favorite Servers" list (it doesn't matter which one) Click "Add New Server..." and put "freejavachat.com" in the box. Click "Next" twice and put "#cff" in the box. Click "Next" and fill in your default nick Click "Next" 2 more times. You should see Fill in your alternate nick (name_ for example) Fill in your away nick (name_away for example) If your nick is registered, click "Startup" and fill in the Nickserv password. Click "Save" Next time you open up Icechat, just double click on "freejavachat.com" on the side. While you're at it, Click "Icechat Editor" (blue circle with a star) and add this line to the bottom Code: /rand /say $randquitType "/rand" in a chat and see what happens.
